Maureen Rever

Maureen Rever, born on July twenty-first, nineteen thirty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian sprinter and long jumper. Her athletic prowess was showcased on the international stage when she competed in the women's 100 metres at the nineteen fifty-six Summer Olympics, marking a significant milestone in her career.

In addition to her Olympic appearance, Rever made notable contributions to her team at the nineteen fifty-eight British Empire and Commonwealth Games, where she secured a third-place finish in the 4×110 yards relay alongside teammates Diane Matheson, Eleanor Haslam, and Freyda Berman. Despite facing tough competition, she also reached the semi-finals in the 220 yards and participated in the heats of the 100 yards.

Rever continued to excel in her sport, earning a bronze medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the nineteen fifty-nine Pan American Games, competing with Sally McCallum, Valerie Jerome, and Heather Campbell.
