Maurizio Bevilacqua

Maurizio Bevilacqua, born on June first, nineteen sixty, is a prominent Canadian politician and consultant known for his impactful contributions to local governance and national politics.

He served as the fourth mayor of Vaughan from two thousand ten to two thousand twenty-two, a role that allowed him to shape the community and implement business-friendly policies. Prior to his tenure as mayor, Bevilacqua was a Liberal member of Parliament from nineteen eighty-eight to two thousand ten, where he gained recognition for his centrist, pro-business stance.

In two thousand six, he was one of eleven candidates in the Liberal leadership contest but withdrew from the race on August fourteenth.
