Mauro Gambetti

Mauro Gambetti, born on October twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished Italian Catholic prelate. He has held significant roles within the Catholic Church, including serving as the archpriest of Saint Peter's Basilica, Vicar General for the Vatican City State, and president of the Fabric of Saint Peter since two thousand twenty-one.

His ecclesiastical journey saw him consecrated as a titular archbishop on November twenty-second, two thousand twenty, shortly before being elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope Francis on November twenty-eighth of the same year. Gambetti's commitment to the Church is further exemplified by his membership in the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, which he joined in nineteen ninety-two.
