Max Sciandri

Max Sciandri, born on February fifteenth, nineteen sixty-seven, is a retired British road racing cyclist of Italian descent. He began his professional cycling career in nineteen eighty-nine and competed at the highest levels until two thousand four. Initially representing Italy, he switched to British citizenship in February nineteen ninety-five, marking a significant transition in his career.

One of Sciandri's most notable achievements came during the nineteen ninety-six Summer Olympics held in Atlanta, USA, where he proudly secured a bronze medal in the men's individual road race. This accomplishment solidified his status as a prominent figure in the world of cycling.

After retiring from competitive cycling, Sciandri transitioned into a role as a sporting director. From two thousand eleven to two thousand eighteen, he served with the BMC Racing Team, where he utilized his extensive experience to guide and mentor upcoming cyclists.
