Maxi Rodríguez

Maximiliano Rubén Rodríguez, known affectionately as La Fiera, is a retired Argentine footballer born on January 2, 1981. Renowned for his versatility on the pitch, Rodríguez primarily played as a winger on both flanks but also showcased his skills as an attacking midfielder throughout his career.

At the age of twenty-one, Rodríguez made the pivotal move to Spain, where he would spend the majority of his professional career. He made significant contributions to Espanyol and Atlético Madrid, accumulating an impressive total of two hundred thirty-two appearances and fifty-eight goals in La Liga over eight seasons.

His journey also took him to England, where he played for Liverpool for two years, further enhancing his reputation on the international stage. Rodríguez began and concluded his career at Newell's Old Boys, the club where he first honed his talents.
