Maxim Sergeyevich Martsinkevich, known as Tesak, was born on May 8, 1984, and became a prominent figure in the Russian neo-Nazi movement. He first garnered attention as a white power skinhead and the leader of Format 18, a far-right youth group considered the 'armed wing' of the National Socialist Society. His activism was marked by a violent approach and a focus on targeting ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community.
As the co-founder of the Restruct movement, Tesak's most notorious initiative was Occupy Pedophilia, which aimed to promote national socialism and draw public attention to liberal views. His controversial methods led to significant legal troubles, including multiple prison sentences for inciting racial hatred. His first indictment came in 2007 after he disrupted a political debate with Nazi salutes.
In 2009, Martsinkevich was sentenced to three years for producing racist content. His experiences during incarceration were later chronicled in his book, Restruct. Following his release, he engaged in vlogging and charged fees for his 'hunts for pedophiles' and lectures on various topics, including life in prison and shoplifting.
In 2013, he faced further legal issues for releasing videos with racist remarks, resulting in a five-year sentence in 2014, which was later reduced to two years and ten months. His final conviction came in 2017 when he was sentenced to ten years for his involvement in violent attacks against synthetic cannabinoid dealers. In 2020, while serving his sentence, he confessed to murders but was found dead in his prison cell, leaving behind a controversial legacy.
