Meaghan Smith, a talented Canadian singer-songwriter, has made a significant mark in the music industry with her unique sound and artistic vision. Born on January first, nineteen seventy-eight, she began her journey as a musician and visual artist, eventually releasing her debut album, The Cricket's Orchestra, in two thousand nine under Warner Music Canada-Sire Records. This album showcased her distinctive style and creativity, setting the stage for her future successes.

In the same year, Smith gained further recognition for her enchanting cover of the Pixies' classic, 'Here Comes Your Man,' which was featured in the soundtrack of the beloved film (500) Days of Summer. Her rendition, characterized by her use of the Omnichord, captivated audiences and highlighted her innovative approach to music.

Smith is particularly celebrated for her Christmas concerts, where she breathes new life into traditional carols while also performing her own festive hit, 'It Snowed.'
