Meilen Tu

Meilen Tu, born on January 17, 1978, is a former professional tennis player hailing from the United States. With a career that spanned several years, she made her mark on the WTA Tour by securing one singles title and four doubles titles. Additionally, Tu showcased her talent on the ITF Women's Circuit, where she claimed four singles titles and three doubles titles.

Raised in Tarzana, Los Angeles, by Taiwanese parents, Tu's early promise in tennis was evident when she became the US Open girls' singles champion in 1994. This achievement set the stage for her professional career, where she continued to excel on the court.

In 2006, Tu reached a significant milestone in her career by advancing to the semifinals of the DFS Classic. Although she faced a tough match against Vera Zvonareva, who ultimately won the title, her performance was a testament to her skill and determination as a player.
