Michael Ballack

Michael Ballack, born on September 26, 1976, is a distinguished former professional footballer from Germany, now thriving as a football agent. Renowned for his exceptional passing range, powerful shot, and commanding presence in midfield, Ballack was recognized by Pelé as one of FIFA's 100 Greatest Living Players and earned the title of UEFA Club Midfielder of the Year in 2002. His remarkable career also saw him win the German Footballer of the Year award three times, in 2002, 2003, and 2005.

Ballack's football journey began in 1983 at the youth level with BSG Motor 'Fritz Heckert' Karl-Marx-Stadt, before moving to the youth department of FC Karl-Marx-Stadt. He made his debut for Germany's under-21 team on March 26, 1996. After a season in the Regionalliga, his impressive performances led to a transfer to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 1997, where he won the Bundesliga in his first season, marking the start of his major honors.

In 1999, Ballack transferred to Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of four point one million euros.
