Michael Curry (bishop)

Michael Curry, born on March thirteenth, nineteen fifty-three, is a distinguished American Anglican priest and bishop. He made history in two thousand fifteen when he was elected as the twenty-seventh presiding bishop and primate of the Episcopal Church, becoming the first African American to hold this esteemed position.

Prior to his election as presiding bishop, Curry served as the Bishop of North Carolina from two thousand to two thousand fifteen.
