Michael E. Fossum

Michael E. Fossum, born on December nineteenth, nineteen fifty-seven, is a distinguished former American astronaut and military officer. With a robust background in engineering and biochemistry, he has made significant contributions to both space exploration and academia.

Fossum's remarkable career includes flying aboard NASA's Space Shuttle missions STS-121 and STS-124. His expertise as a mission specialist was further showcased during his time aboard the International Space Station, where he served as a key member of Expedition 28 and later took on the role of commander for Expedition 29.
