Michael Fassbender

Michael Fassbender, born on April 2, 1977, is a distinguished German-Irish actor known for his versatility across film, stage, and television. After honing his craft at the Drama Centre London, he made his feature film debut in the action epic 300 in 2006. His early career included notable performances in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers and the fantasy drama Hex, which set the stage for his rise to prominence.

Fassbender gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Bobby Sands in the 2008 drama Hunger, which marked a turning point in his career. He continued to impress audiences with his roles in films such as Fish Tank and Inglourious Basterds in 2009, followed by Jane Eyre and A Dangerous Method in 2011. His compelling performances in The Counselor, Frank, and Macbeth further solidified his status as a leading actor.

One of his most iconic roles came as Erik Lehnsherr, also known as Magneto, in the X-Men film series from 2011 to 2019. Additionally, he portrayed David 8 and Walter One in the Alien franchise. Fassbender's performance in Steve McQueen's drama Shame earned him the prestigious Volpi Cup for Best Actor, while his roles in 12 Years a Slave and Steve Jobs garnered him Academy Award nominations.
