Michael Owen, born on December 14, 1979, in Chester, is a celebrated English former professional footballer renowned for his exceptional skills as a striker. He began his illustrious career at Liverpool in 1996, where he quickly made a name for himself by becoming the club's youngest goalscorer at just 17 years and 143 days. Owen's remarkable pace and clinical finishing helped him secure the Premier League Golden Boot in both his first and second full seasons, solidifying his reputation as one of the best strikers of his generation.

During his time at Liverpool, Owen was instrumental in the club's success, contributing to a historic cup treble in 2001 that included the UEFA Cup, FA Cup, and Football League Cup.
