Michael Shermer

Michael Shermer, born on September eighth, nineteen fifty-four, is a prominent American science writer and historian of science. He serves as the executive director of The Skeptics Society and is the founding publisher of Skeptic magazine, a publication dedicated to investigating pseudoscientific and supernatural claims. With a prolific output of over a dozen books, Shermer is widely recognized for his engaging debates on topics related to pseudoscience and religion, where he emphasizes the importance of scientific skepticism.

In addition to his writing, Shermer co-produced and co-hosted the thirteen-hour television series Exploring the Unknown, which aired on Fox Family in nineteen ninety-nine.
