Michael Walzer

Michael Walzer, born on March third, nineteen thirty-five, is a distinguished American political theorist and public intellectual. He holds the title of professor emeritus at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, where he has made significant contributions to the fields of philosophy and political science.

Throughout his career, Walzer has been deeply involved with the left-wing magazine Dissent, serving as its editor emeritus. His affiliation with the publication dates back to his undergraduate years at Brandeis University. Additionally, he is an advisory editor for the Jewish journal Fathom and is a member of the editorial board for the Jewish Review of Books.

Walzer's scholarly work encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, particularly in political ethics.
