Michel Bastos

Michel Bastos, born on August second, nineteen eighty-three, is a retired Brazilian professional footballer renowned for his versatility on the field, primarily as a left winger. His football journey began at his hometown club, Pelotas, where he showcased his talent before making a significant move to the Netherlands. There, he played for Feyenoord and Excelsior, gaining valuable experience in European football.

After his time in the Netherlands, Bastos returned to Brazil, where he had successful stints with Atlético Paranaense, Grêmio, and Figueirense. In two thousand six, he made a pivotal move to France, joining Lille, and later transferred to Lyon in two thousand nine. Despite facing challenges during his spells at Schalke 04, Al Ain, and Roma, he returned to Brazil in two thousand fourteen to play for São Paulo.
