Michele Lee, born on June 24, 1942, is a multifaceted American talent known for her remarkable contributions as a singer, dancer, and actress across various platforms including stage, television, and film. She gained widespread recognition for her iconic role as Karen Fairgate MacKenzie on the beloved prime-time soap opera Knots Landing. Her performance earned her a nomination for an Emmy Award in 1982, and she was honored with the Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Actress in 1988, 1991, and 1992, making her the only performer to appear in all 344 episodes of the series.

Lee's illustrious career began on Broadway, where she showcased her talents in productions such as Vintage 60 in 1960 and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 1962. She made her film debut in the cinematic adaptation of the latter in 1967, and her filmography includes notable appearances in Disney's The Love Bug (1968), The Comic (1969), and Along Came Polly (2004).
