Michelle Darvill

Michelle Darvill, born on August twenty-first, nineteen sixty-five, in Toronto, is a distinguished retired rower known for her remarkable achievements in the sport. Initially representing Canada, she later switched her allegiance to Germany, showcasing her versatility and dedication to rowing.

Throughout her illustrious career, Michelle excelled in three different lightweight boat classes, earning the title of world champion once for Canada and twice for Germany. Her prowess on the water culminated in her representation of Germany at the nineteen ninety-six Summer Olympics, a testament to her skill and determination.

Since two thousand nine, Michelle has transitioned from athlete to coach, dedicating her expertise to the Canadian under twenty-three women's rowing team. Her commitment to nurturing the next generation of rowers reflects her passion for the sport and her desire to give back to the community.
