Michu

Miguel Pérez Cuesta, widely known as Michu, was born on March twenty-first, nineteen eighty-six, in Spain. He carved out a notable career as a professional footballer, primarily playing as a forward or attacking midfielder. After beginning his journey with Real Oviedo, Michu showcased his talents at Celta and Rayo Vallecano, where he made his La Liga debut during the 2011-2012 season.

In two thousand twelve, Michu made a significant move to Swansea City, where he enjoyed a remarkable first season, netting twenty-two goals across all competitions and helping the team secure the League Cup. His impressive performances earned him a call-up to the Spanish national team in two thousand thirteen, marking a high point in his career.

However, Michu's time at Swansea was marred by injury issues, which led to a decline in his playing time. He was loaned to Napoli and eventually released in November two thousand fifteen. Following his departure from Swansea, he continued his career with Langreo and Oviedo before deciding to retire from professional football.

Today, Michu serves as the director of football for Segunda División club Burgos, where he applies his extensive knowledge and experience in the sport to guide the next generation of players.
