Mickie James

Mickie James, born on August thirty-first, nineteen seventy-nine, is a multifaceted American professional wrestler, model, and country singer. Currently signed to WWE as an ambassador, she also holds significant roles in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) as Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer. Her illustrious career has seen her make notable contributions to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).

James embarked on her wrestling journey in nineteen ninety-nine, initially appearing as a valet on the independent circuit under the ring name Alexis Laree. She honed her skills through various training camps before making her mark in NWA: Total Nonstop Action in two thousand two, where she quickly gained national recognition. Her involvement with the promotion included being part of a stable known as The Gathering, and she made history as the only woman to participate in the promotion's Clockwork Orange House of Fun matches until two thousand twenty-five.

In two thousand five, Mickie made her WWE main roster debut, captivating audiences with a storyline that portrayed her as Trish Stratus' biggest fan turned obsessed stalker. This compelling angle lasted over eight months and propelled her to success, culminating in her first WWE Women's Championship victory at WrestleMania twenty-two. Over her career, she has held the Women's Championship five times and became the second of five Divas to hold both the Women's and Divas Championships after defeating Maryse Ouellet at Night of Champions in two thousand nine.

After her release from WWE in April two thousand ten, James returned to TNA, where she achieved remarkable success as a three-time TNA Knockouts Champion. Her journey with WWE continued as she returned in two thousand thirteen as a guest trainer and officially rejoined in two thousand sixteen, only to be released again in two thousand twenty-one. Following her departure, she made occasional appearances and ultimately returned to Impact Wrestling in two thousand twenty-one, where she won her fourth and fifth Knockouts Championship, bringing her total to an impressive eleven-time women's world champion across WWE and Impact.
