Miguel Almirón

Miguel Almirón, born on February 10, 1994, is a talented Paraguayan professional footballer known for his dynamic play as an attacking midfielder or right winger. He currently showcases his skills for Major League Soccer club Atlanta United and the Paraguay national team.

Almirón's football journey began at Cerro Porteño, where he honed his abilities before making a significant move to Lanús in 2015. His time in Argentina was marked by success, culminating in winning the Argentine Primera División in 2016. This achievement paved the way for his transfer to Atlanta United, where he made headlines with a record signing of eight million dollars.

During his tenure in Major League Soccer, Almirón's impact was undeniable. He earned a spot in the MLS Best XI for both seasons he played and was honored as the MLS Newcomer of the Year in 2017.
