Mihai Tudose

Mihai Tudose, born on March sixth, nineteen sixty-seven, is a prominent Romanian politician, jurist, and academic. He has served as a deputy in the Parliament of Romania and held significant positions in the government, including Minister of Economy in two thousand seventeen.

His political journey reached a pivotal moment in January two thousand eighteen when he resigned from his role as Prime Minister after his own party, the Social Democratic Party (PSD), withdrew its support for his administration. This marked a significant turning point in his career.

In two thousand nineteen, Tudose transitioned from the PSD to join Victor Ponta's party, PRO Romania, seeking new political avenues. However, his affiliation with PRO Romania was short-lived, as he resigned from the party on January sixth, two thousand twenty, and made a return to the Social Democratic Party.
