Mike Bordin

Mike Bordin, born on November twenty-seventh, nineteen sixty-two, is an acclaimed American drummer and percussionist, best recognized for his dynamic role in the rock band Faith No More. His journey in music began in the early 1980s, where he earned the affectionate nicknames 'Puffy', 'Puffster', and 'The Puff' from guitarist Jim Martin, a nod to the iconic afro hairstyle he sported during that era. Even after transitioning to dreadlocks, these monikers remained a testament to his unique style.

As one of the founding members of Faith No More in nineteen eighty-three, Bordin's drumming became a defining element of the band's sound. He remained the sole drummer throughout the band's initial run until their breakup in April nineteen ninety-eight. His passion for music led him to reunite with the band in two thousand nine, marking a significant return to the stage.

Beyond his work with Faith No More, Bordin has collaborated with a variety of notable artists, including Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Korn, and Jerry Cantrell.
