Mike Danton

Mike Danton, born on October 21, 1980, is a former professional ice hockey player of Polish-Canadian descent. He made his mark in the National Hockey League, playing for the New Jersey Devils and the St. Louis Blues from 2000 to 2004. Danton's career took a dramatic turn when he was convicted for conspiracy to commit murder, leading to a significant prison sentence.

After serving sixty-three months of his ninety-month sentence, Danton was released on parole on September 11, 2009. This period of incarceration profoundly impacted his life and career, but it did not extinguish his passion for hockey.
