Mike O'Malley

Mike O'Malley, born on October thirty-first, nineteen sixty-six, is a multifaceted American actor, writer, and television producer. Hailing from Boston and raised in New Hampshire, he first captured audiences as the host of popular children's game shows in the early 1990s, including Get the Picture and Nickelodeon Guts. His move to Los Angeles later in the decade marked the beginning of a successful sitcom career, highlighted by his own NBC show, The Mike O'Malley Show.

O'Malley is perhaps best recognized for his memorable portrayal of Jimmy Hughes on the CBS series Yes, Dear, which aired from two thousand to two thousand six. His talent earned him an Emmy Award nomination for his role as Burt Hummel on the acclaimed Fox series Glee. In addition to these roles, he has made guest appearances in various series such as My Name Is Earl, Raising Hope, Parenthood, and Parks and Recreation.
