Mike Pompeo

Mike Pompeo, born on December thirtieth, nineteen sixty-three, in Orange, California, is a prominent American politician, attorney, and diplomat. He graduated from the United States Military Academy in nineteen eighty-six and served five years as a U.S. Army officer before earning his law degree from Harvard Law School. Pompeo initially practiced law until nineteen ninety-eight, after which he ventured into entrepreneurship within the aerospace and oilfield sectors.

His political career began in two thousand ten when he was elected to represent Kansas's fourth congressional district in the United States House of Representatives, serving until two thousand seventeen. Although he initially criticized Donald Trump during the Republican primaries, Pompeo later endorsed him and was appointed as the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in January two thousand seventeen, followed by his role as the seventy-first United States Secretary of State from April two thousand eighteen to January two thousand twenty-one.

As Secretary of State, Pompeo was known for his strong stance against the Chinese Communist Party and its leader, Xi Jinping, whom he labeled a dictator.
