Mikel Merino

Mikel Merino, born on June 22, 1996, is a talented Spanish professional footballer who has made a name for himself as a versatile midfielder and striker. Currently, he plays for Premier League club Arsenal and represents the Spain national team, showcasing his skills on both club and international stages.

Merino began his football journey with Osasuna, where he honed his abilities before moving on to play for Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United. In 2018, he signed with Real Sociedad, where he enjoyed significant success, including winning the Copa del Rey in the 2019–20 season. Over his time with the club, he made a remarkable two hundred forty-two appearances and scored twenty-seven goals.
