Mikko Hirvonen

Mikko Hirvonen, born on July thirty-first, nineteen eighty, is a distinguished Finnish former rally driver who has made a significant mark in the world of motorsport. Known for his tenacity and skill, he transitioned into a Rally-Raid driver after an illustrious career in the World Rally Championship.

Throughout his career, Hirvonen showcased his exceptional talent by securing third place in the drivers' championship and playing a pivotal role in helping Ford clinch the manufacturers' title in both two thousand six and two thousand seven. His competitive spirit shone brightly as he finished as the runner-up to the legendary Sébastien Loeb in the years two thousand eight, two thousand nine, two thousand eleven, and two thousand twelve.

Hirvonen's journey in rally driving was marked by a strong partnership with his co-driver, Jarmo Lehtinen. Together, they formed a formidable team from the two thousand three season until Hirvonen's retirement in two thousand fourteen.
