Milutin Ivković

Milutin Ivković, born on March third, nineteen oh six, was a distinguished Yugoslav medical doctor and a talented football defender. His athletic prowess was showcased on the international stage when he represented Yugoslavia at the 1928 Summer Olympics and the 1930 FIFA World Cup, marking significant milestones in his football career.

After hanging up his boots, Ivković transitioned from the pitch to the political arena, becoming an active communist political activist. His commitment to his beliefs and his country was unwavering, even in the face of adversity.

Tragically, Milutin's life was cut short during World War II when he was killed by Nazi Germany on May twenty-fifth, nineteen forty-three, in Jajinci, a location near the capital city of Belgrade. His legacy as both a sportsman and a political figure remains a poignant part of Yugoslav history.
