Mimi Walters

Mimi Walters, born on May fourteenth, nineteen sixty-two, is a prominent American businesswoman and politician affiliated with the Republican Party. Her political career began after a successful tenure in investment banking, where she worked from nineteen eighty-eight to nineteen ninety-five. During this time, she also held the position of chairwoman of the Laguna Niguel Investment and Banking Committee.

Walters' political journey took off when she served two terms on the Laguna Niguel City Council from nineteen ninety-six to two thousand four, including a term as Mayor in two thousand. She then represented the seventy-third Assembly district in the California State Assembly from two thousand four to two thousand eight, before moving on to the California State Senate, where she represented the thirty-third Senate district from two thousand eight to two thousand twelve and the thirty-seventh Senate district from two thousand twelve to two thousand fifteen.

In two thousand fourteen, Walters was elected to the United States House of Representatives, representing California's forty-fifth congressional district. She was re-elected in two thousand sixteen, showcasing her strong support within her constituency.
