Mirabai Chanu

Mirabai Chanu, born on August eighth, nineteen ninety-four, is a distinguished Indian weightlifter who has made her mark on the international stage. She gained global recognition by winning the silver medal in the women's forty-nine kg event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.

Chanu's journey in weightlifting is adorned with numerous accolades, including gold medals at both the World Championships and the Commonwealth Games. Notably, she clinched the silver medal in the women's forty-eight kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and later broke the games record to secure gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, further solidifying her status as a top athlete.
