Miranda Lambert, born on November 10, 1983, in Longview, Texas, is a celebrated American country music singer-songwriter and musician. She began her career in 2001 with the release of her self-titled debut album, which she produced independently. Her rise to fame was further propelled in 2003 when she secured third place on the USA Network's singing competition, Nashville Star. Lambert is also a founding member of the Pistol Annies, a country music group she formed in 2011 alongside fellow artists Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.
