Místico, born on December twenty-second, nineteen eighty-two, is a renowned professional wrestler who has captivated audiences with his dynamic performances and compelling character work. He first gained prominence in the Mexican wrestling scene as a top técnico, portraying the heroic figure in the ring. His rise to fame was marked by his time in CMLL, where he embodied a religious character and became the protégé of the wrestling priest Fray Tormenta.
From two thousand six to two thousand eleven, Místico emerged as the biggest box office draw in Mexico, showcasing his exceptional talent and charisma. His popularity soared, leading to a successful stint in WWE from two thousand eleven to two thousand fourteen, where he wrestled under the name Sin Cara. This period allowed him to reach a broader audience, although he later returned to his roots in Lucha Libre.
After his time in WWE, Místico adopted the ring name Myzteziz while competing for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He made a triumphant return to CMLL in two thousand fifteen as Carístico. In two thousand twenty-one, he reclaimed the Místico name following the departure of his successor, Místico II. Throughout his career, he has achieved remarkable success, holding five championships simultaneously on two occasions in two thousand eight and winning numerous major CMLL championships, including the Torneo Gran Alternativa and Leyenda de Plata tournaments three times each.
Beyond his in-ring accomplishments, Místico comes from a wrestling family.
