Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Mohammad Mokhber

Mohammad Mokhber, born on June twenty-six, nineteen fifty-five, is a prominent Iranian politician who rose to prominence as the acting president of Iran in two thousand twenty-four, following the tragic death of President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash. Prior to this, he served as the first vice president of Iran from two thousand twenty-one to two thousand twenty-four under Raisi's administration.

His political career is marked by significant roles, including membership in the Expediency Discernment Council since September two thousand twenty-two and serving as an advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran from September two thousand twenty-four to February two thousand twenty-six. Mokhber has also held various executive positions, such as the head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order committee, an executive at the Mostazafan Foundation, and chairman of the board of Sina Bank.

During the Iraq-Iran war, Mokhber served as a medical officer in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and prior to the war, he was involved with the revolutionary Mansurun Group. His career, however, has not been without controversy, as he has faced numerous allegations of corruption related to the privatization of public assets, insider trading, and human rights abuses, which have led to international sanctions against him and his affiliated organizations.

Upon Raisi's death, Mokhber was granted the powers and functions of the President with the Supreme Leader's approval. A Temporary Presidential Council was established, and a new election was scheduled for June twenty-eight, two thousand twenty-four, with a runoff on July fifth, two thousand twenty-four. Ultimately, Masoud Pezeshkian emerged victorious in the presidential runoff and was appointed as President on July twenty-eight, two thousand twenty-four.
