Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Mohammed Badie

Mohammed Badie, born on August seventh, nineteen forty-three, is a prominent Egyptian politician, veterinarian, and university teacher. He has served as the eighth Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood since two thousand ten, leading the Egyptian branch of this international organization. His involvement with the Brotherhood dates back to nineteen ninety-six when he became a member of the Guidance Bureau, the group's governing council.

Badie's leadership has not been without controversy. On August twentieth, two thousand thirteen, he was arrested by Egyptian authorities, leading to Dr. Mahmoud Ezzat assuming the role of acting general guide. Following Ezzat's own arrest in August two thousand twenty, Ibrahim Munir took over the position. However, in October two thousand twenty-one, the Consultative Assembly of the Muslim Brotherhood withdrew confidence from Munir, resulting in the appointment of Dr. Mostafa Tolba as the committee's representative.

Throughout his political career, Badie has faced severe legal challenges. In April two thousand fourteen, he was sentenced to death in a trial that lasted only eight minutes, alongside six hundred eighty-two others accused of supporting the Brotherhood. His legal battles continued, with a life sentence handed down in September two thousand fourteen, followed by multiple death sentences and life sentences in subsequent years. In two thousand nineteen, Egypt's highest appeals court upheld his conviction on serious charges related to the events of the two thousand eleven uprising.
