Monta Ellis

Monta Ellis, born on October twenty-sixth, nineteen eighty-five, is a distinguished former professional basketball player from the United States. He gained recognition during his high school years at Lanier High School in Jackson, Mississippi, where he earned accolades as a McDonald's All-American and a first-team Parade All-American.

Ellis made the leap to the NBA directly from high school, being selected as the fortieth overall pick by the Golden State Warriors in the two thousand five NBA draft. His career took off when he was named the NBA Most Improved Player in two thousand seven, showcasing his exceptional scoring ability. Throughout his career, he consistently demonstrated his prowess as one of the league's top scorers, averaging close to twenty-five points per game on two separate occasions.

After spending six and a half seasons with the Warriors, Ellis was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in March two thousand twelve. His time with the Bucks lasted a season and a half, after which he played two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks and concluded his career with two seasons at the Indiana Pacers.
