Morgan Gautrat

Morgan Gautrat, born on February 26, 1993, is an accomplished American professional soccer player who currently plays as a midfielder for Newcastle United W.F.C. in Women's Super League 2, on loan from the Orlando Pride. Her journey in soccer began at the University of Virginia, where she showcased her talent from 2011 to 2014, scoring forty-one goals and providing forty-three assists. This remarkable performance placed her second in career points and assists, and fifth in career goals for the Cavaliers.

Gautrat's collegiate success earned her the prestigious MAC Hermann Trophy in both 2013 and 2014, making her the fourth woman to win this honor consecutively. Following her standout college career, she was selected first overall by the Houston Dash in the 2015 NWSL College Draft, marking the beginning of her professional journey.

On the international stage, Gautrat made her debut for the United States national team during a friendly match against Korea Republic on June 15, 2013. Since then, she has accumulated eighty-eight appearances and scored eight goals for her country. Notably, she played a crucial role in helping the United States secure victories at the 2015 and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, where she was the youngest member of the team at the 2015 tournament.
