Morgan Geekie

Morgan Geekie, born on July twentieth, nineteen ninety-eight, is a talented Canadian ice hockey player currently playing as a centre for the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL). His journey in professional hockey began when he was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the third round of the two thousand seventeen NHL entry draft, being the sixty-seventh overall pick.

Raised in Manitoba, Geekie honed his skills in minor hockey before making a significant leap to the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League in two thousand thirteen. After several successful seasons with the Americans, he transitioned to the American Hockey League (AHL) where he joined the Charlotte Checkers in two thousand eighteen. His contributions were pivotal in leading the Checkers to a Calder Cup victory in two thousand nineteen, which set the stage for his NHL debut with the Hurricanes in two thousand twenty, where he recorded two goals and one assist.

Following another season with the Hurricanes and their AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, Geekie was selected by the Seattle Kraken during the two thousand twenty-one NHL expansion draft. He spent two seasons with the Kraken, showcasing his growth and talent before signing with the Boston Bruins as a free agent. In his first season with the Bruins, he achieved a career-high of thirty-nine points, further improving to fifty-seven points in his second season.

On the international stage, Geekie proudly represents Team Canada, having participated in the two thousand twenty-two IIHF World Championship, where he contributed to the team's success in securing a silver medal.
