Morgan Griffith

Morgan Griffith, born on March fifteenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent American politician and lawyer. He has been serving as the U.S. representative for Virginia's ninth congressional district since two thousand eleven. This district encompasses much of rural Southwest Virginia, including the picturesque New River Valley and the Virginia side of the Tri-Cities.

A dedicated member of the Republican Party and the Freedom Caucus, Griffith has a rich history in public service. Prior to his current role in Congress, he was the majority leader of the Virginia House of Delegates, where he represented the eighth district from nineteen ninety-four to two thousand eleven. This district was rooted in his hometown of Salem and extended into parts of the surrounding Roanoke County.
