Morten Harket

Morten Harket, born on September fourteenth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a celebrated Norwegian singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the iconic synth-pop band A-ha. The band, which formed in nineteen eighty-two, achieved international fame with their groundbreaking hit 'Take On Me' in nineteen eighty-five, a song that remains a defining anthem of the era.

Throughout their illustrious career, A-ha has released eleven studio albums as of twenty twenty-four, showcasing Harket's distinctive voice and artistic versatility. In addition to his work with the band, Harket has pursued a successful solo career, releasing six solo albums that further highlight his musical talents.

Before his rise to fame with A-ha, Harket was an active performer in the Oslo club scene, where he showcased his vocal prowess as the frontman for the blues band Souldier Blue. His contributions to music have not gone unnoticed; he was honored as a Knight First Class of the Order of St. Olav by King Harald, recognizing his significant impact on Norwegian music and his success on the international stage.
