Mosab Hassan Yousef

Mosab Hassan Yousef, born on May fifth, nineteen seventy-eight, is a prominent American author and former militant known for his remarkable journey from the heart of the Palestinian conflict to becoming a vocal critic of Hamas and a defender of human rights. As the son of Hassan Yousef, a co-founder of Hamas, Mosab's life took a dramatic turn when he defected to Israel in nineteen ninety-seven, subsequently serving as a spy for the Shin Bet until his relocation to the United States in two thousand seven.

During his tenure with the Shin Bet, Yousef emerged as a crucial asset, providing intelligence that thwarted numerous suicide attacks and assisted in the capture of Palestinian militants.
