Moshoeshoe II, born Constantine Bereng Seeiso on May 2, 1938, was a prominent political figure in Lesotho, serving as the Paramount Chief of Basutoland from 1960 until the nation achieved full independence from British rule in 1966.
Following independence, he ascended to the throne as King of Lesotho, a position he held until his exile in 1990. His reign was marked by significant political changes and challenges, reflecting the complexities of leadership in a newly independent nation.
