Mpule Kwelagobe

Mpule Kwelagobe, born on November fourteenth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished Motswana model, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. She gained international fame when she was crowned Miss Universe in nineteen ninety-nine, making history as the first black African woman to win one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Additionally, she was the first woman from Botswana to achieve this honor and the first from a nation making its debut in nearly four decades. Kwelagobe is also recognized as the third African woman to hold the Miss Universe title.

Before her Miss Universe triumph, Kwelagobe was crowned Miss Botswana in nineteen ninety-seven and represented her country in the Miss World pageant the same year. Her journey in the beauty industry has been marked by significant achievements, showcasing her talent and dedication to her craft.
