Muadh ibn Jabal

Muadh ibn Jabal, born in the year six hundred, was a distinguished companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. As a member of the Ansar from the Banu Khazraj tribe, he played a pivotal role in the early Islamic community. His dedication to the faith and his scholarly pursuits earned him a prominent place among the companions of the Prophet.

Notably, Muadh was instrumental in compiling the Quran alongside five other companions while Muhammad was still alive. This significant contribution not only showcased his deep understanding of the faith but also solidified his reputation as a knowledgeable figure within the early Muslim community.

His wisdom and insight were so highly regarded that Muhammad referred to him as “the one who will lead the scholars into Paradise.” This title reflects the esteem in which he was held and underscores his commitment to Islamic scholarship and jurisprudence.
