Murray Vaughan

In nineteen thirty, Vaughan married L. Marguerite Pillow, a Montreal native and daughter of Howard W. and Lucille Elizabeth (Fairbank) Pillow. His professional journey took him to Montreal, where he resided for four decades. During this time, he held the esteemed position of president of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts from nineteen sixty-three to nineteen sixty-eight, significantly contributing to the cultural landscape of the city.

Vaughan's commitment to the arts was recognized in nineteen sixty-nine when he was appointed a Companion of the Order of Canada, a testament to his influence and dedication.
