Nacer Chadli, born on August 2, 1989, is a former professional footballer from Belgium, renowned for his skills as a winger. His journey in football began in the Eerste Divisie with AGOVV Apeldoorn, where he showcased his talent before making a significant leap to the top-flight club FC Twente in 2010. In his inaugural season with Twente, Chadli played a pivotal role in securing the KNVB Cup, marking the beginning of a successful career.
In 2013, Chadli made a move to Tottenham Hotspur, where he continued to develop his game and gain international recognition. His impressive performances led to a record transfer to West Bromwich Albion three years later, where he was signed for a club-record fee of thirteen million pounds.
Chadli's international career has been equally remarkable. Initially representing Morocco in 2010 due to his father's Moroccan heritage, he switched allegiance to Belgium the following year. Since then, he has earned over sixty caps for the Belgian national team, participating in prestigious tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and 2018, as well as UEFA Euro 2020.
