Nalini Bala Devi

Nalini Bala Devi, born on March twenty-third, nineteen ninety-eight, was a prominent figure in Assamese literature, celebrated for her contributions as an autobiographer, poet, and writer. In recognition of her literary achievements, Nalini was honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in nineteen fifty-seven, marking her as the first woman Assamese poet to receive this prestigious award.
