Nancy Cartwright, born on October twenty-fifth, nineteen fifty-seven, in Dayton, Ohio, is a celebrated American actress and voice actor renowned for her dynamic performances in animation. She is best known for her iconic role as Bart Simpson on the long-running series The Simpsons, a performance that earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance and an Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in the Field of Animation. In addition to Bart, she lends her voice to several other beloved characters on the show, including Maggie Simpson, Ralph Wiggum, Todd Flanders, and Nelson Muntz.

Cartwright's journey in the entertainment industry began when she moved to Hollywood in nineteen seventy-eight, where she trained under the esteemed voice actor Daws Butler. Her professional debut came with the role of Gloria in the animated series Richie Rich, followed by a starring role in the television movie Marian Rose White in nineteen eighty-two and her first feature film, Twilight Zone: The Movie, in nineteen eighty-three.
