Nasif Estéfano, born on November eighteenth, nineteen thirty-two, in Concepción, Tucumán, was a talented engineer and a passionate racing driver from Argentina, known for his Lebanese heritage. His journey into the world of motorsport began with a dream that led him to compete in the prestigious Formula One circuit.
Estéfano made his debut in Formula One on February seventh, nineteen sixty, participating in two World Championship Grands Prix. Despite his determination and skill, he did not manage to score any championship points during his brief stint in the sport. His aspirations continued as he entered the 1962 Italian Grand Prix, although he unfortunately did not qualify for the race.
Tragically, Estéfano's life was cut short on October twenty-first, nineteen seventy-three, while he was competing in a local race in Aimogasta, La Rioja. A mechanical failure on a fast curve led to a catastrophic accident, causing his car to somersault multiple times. Due to a fault with the safety belts, he was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal head injuries, passing away almost instantly.
