Natalie Jaresko

Natalie Jaresko, born on April twenty-four, nineteen sixty-five, is a distinguished economist and businessperson with a remarkable career spanning both the United States and Ukraine. She gained prominence as a former U.S. State Department official and later transitioned into the role of an investment banker in Ukraine, where she made significant contributions to the country's financial landscape.

From December twenty-fourteen to April twenty-sixteen, Jaresko served as Ukraine's Minister of Finance, a pivotal position during a challenging economic period for the nation. Her leadership was instrumental in navigating the complexities of Ukraine's financial reforms and international relations.

In March twenty-seventeen, she was appointed as the executive director of the Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico, where she played a crucial role in addressing the island's fiscal challenges. After serving in this capacity, Jaresko announced her resignation from the PROMESA board effective April first, twenty-twenty-two.

Since her departure from the board, Jaresko has taken on the role of chairman at the Aspen Institute Kyiv and has been actively advising the non-profit organization Stronger Than Ever, continuing her commitment to fostering economic development and resilience.
